Well... What a year (and a bit) this has been! I'm writing this in April 2021, and here in the UK we're still in a form of lockdown, but with hints of hope coming.
I'll be honest, it's been a rough time for my millinery business with wedding and events being off the cards. Plus I've been really missing being able to go to events and meet with clients in person. However, it's been amazing having support from my fabulous customers, and I've been using the quiet time of the past year wisely by learning and working away behind the scenes.
As you may have seen on social media I also moved into a studio space in Sun Pier House in Chatham. I've a space in the shared gallery studio, it's certainly become my home from home. I'm loving having a view of the River Medway and its population of swans from my desk!
It also means I can now offer appointments for in-person consultations for bespoke hats and bridal headpieces, and also for viewings of my ready made headwear. You can also arrange a time to visit to collect your order from my website too. From mid April times will be available Friday-Sunday, so just pop me an email via info@missavasmillinery.com or message via the contact page to arrange your appointment.
